YouCAN engages youth in civic action through a variety of hands-on initiatives, including:

• Reporting local issues such as litter, potholes, and other neighborhood concerns to city agencies
• Organizing donation drives for food banks, shelters, and other nonprofit organizations
• Facilitating connections between residents and community service organizations
